• Building Healthier Lives: Learn About My Commitment to Homeopathy and Nutrition.

About Me

With over 20 years of clinical experience as a classically trained homeopath and nutritionist, I have the professionalism, confidence, and skillset to offer effective solutions to your, or your family’s, health concerns.

In my early 20s, my world was rocked when a close friend died throwing me into a downward spiral of grief, self-doubt, and depression. I was placed on anti-depressants which were horrible, making me feel worse than ever. This is when I found homeopathy and it turned my life around. I instantly enrolled to study!

By 2001 I qualified as a homeopath from the Australian College of Natural Medicine (currently known as Endeavour College of Natural Health).  During this time, I also travelled and had my children, gaining valuable insights into the power of homeopathy for dealing with pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and day-to-day health concerns of babies such as colic, teething, sleeplessness, tummy upsets, etc.  My clinic became a hub for young families.

Practical Guidance

I quickly realised that there was a piece of the treatment puzzle missing, that I wanted to offer practical guidance for my client’s nutritional needs. I therefore upskilled to a Bachelor in Complementary Medicine from Charles Sturt University, to be followed by postgraduate studies in Human Nutrition at Deakin University, even gaining the Golden Key award for academic excellence.

Your Health Your Choice

I also became involved in the Australian Homeopathic Association, becoming the vice president for a term of 5 years, during which I helped spearhead the Your Health Your Choice campaign to protect the natural medicine industry.

Evidence-based Science and Holistic Elements

Clinically, I have taken a deep dive into both the evidence-based science and the more holistic and time-honoured elements of health, to offer thoughtfully curated healing based on my client’s unique needs.

I prescribe supplements if there is a frank deficiency or a clear need for them. However, and here is the beauty and simplicity of what I do, gentle tweaking of diet and lifestyle along with functional foods and a well-prescribed remedy is usually all that my clients need. Better for the liver and the hip pocket!

Areas of Interest

My areas of interest are:

  • gut function
  • skin issues
  • mental health
  • hormonal harmony (especially fertility, perimenopause/menopause, thyroid)
  • neural divergence, and
  • children’s wellbeing.

After traversing my own journey with cancer in the last 2 years I have also found ways to support function and health alongside conventional treatment. I am now 50 and feel better than ever, for which I credit my knowledge of homeopathy, nutrition, and mindfulness practices.
